1989, Dick Sackett started a successful Real Estate Sales Business in Des Moines, Iowa. Earlier, Dick owned and operated "SACKETT'S Inc." Sackett's Inc. had multiple True Value hardware stores complete with general contracting and servicing capabilities for plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and electrical as well as constructing homes.

Dick was with Century 21 Combs 2001 – 2004, United Country in 2000, from 1974 – 1988, Dick did Galaxy Home Sales and Construction as well as 14 year Owner operator of "SACKETT'S" Residential Contracting Services & Multiple True Value Hardware Stores.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Dick Sackett is a member of the Peace Lutheran Church, its Fountain Place Board member. He is a member of Kiwanis (past President), Veteran of Foreign Wars, American Legion (Commander), past Arkansas Commissioner for Hazardous Materials and and the Sharp County Republican Committee. He is also a member of Reserve Officer Association (Past ROA Department/Chapter President and treasurer), The Retired Officers Association (TROA now MOAA), and Senior Army Reserve Commanders Assoc. (SARCA). Colonel, U S Army, Retired, Past President of Chamber of Commerce, Park Board President, Retail Promotion President, and Developmental Board President for Strawberry Point, Iowa. Additionally, Dick is a past member of the Jaycees & the Lion's Club (Vice President).

Laura has been sales for over six years. She recently moved to Arkansas in January to join the real estate team. She has taken courses and passed her licensing exam in March 2010. She has assumed control of our rental department, plus is involved in sales. She hopes to continue learning and become a broker in a couple years. Maybe by then her father, Principal Broker Richard Sackett, will be ready to throw in the towel. She has been married for 12 years to her husband Michiel and they have 2 children, ages 11 and 7. Additionally, she is licensed as a Veterinary Technician.

 | Julie Decker was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and has worked in the real estate field 25 years. After serving in the U.S. Army right out of high school, she worked for many years as personal assistant to a real estate attorney in downtown Chicago. In 1998 she and her family moved to Cherokee Village where her parents already had a home. Julie worked as office manager at a real estate company in Hardy and obtained her real estate license in 2003. She has been with Ozark Gateway Realty as office manager since April, 2005, shortly after the company opened. In early 2010 Julie completed the 90 hour broker course at Kelton Schools in Jonesboro, Arkansas and passed the broker test. She became Executive Broker for Ozark Gateway Realty in May, 2010.
Julie has been married almost 30 years and has 2 sons and 2 grandsons. She enjoys reading, going to movies with her mom and spending all her free time with her grandsons!

Joann was born and raised in the Highland, Ash Flat area moving to Wichita, Kansas in 1956. She is the widow of Charles Gibson and worked with him in the corrgated container business .She has a daughter Terry and her husband Glen Ross of Conway, AR they are both real esate brokers and own Southern Pride Properties . She has a son chuck and his wife Venita who lives in the area and work in the container business out of Tupelo, MS.Joann has three grandchildern and three great grandchildren. She married Richard (Dick) Sackett in 2008 and isnow working with him in real estate at Ozark Gateway Realty. She invites all her old and new friends to drop by and say HI.
